Lydon Model Series 3330 Electrically Heated Depyrogenating Ovens are used by many biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies for sterilization and depyrogenation of components (or equipment parts) used in sterile production. The exampe shown is a Lydon Custom Model 3330-4H-T6 Electrically Heated Truck Loading Depyrogenation Oven.
This oven features many of the characteristics deemed GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) by the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industry for exceptionally clean, repeatable and validated service. Such ovens are built into two parallel walls with only the entering face and exit face projecting into the presterile and sterile areas.
In addition to the many special features of Lydon’s 3330 model series of ovens, these ovens routinely include Lydon’s Quickly Removable Perforation walls for ease in cleaning, temperature capability to 280°C, and HEPA filtration of the process air inlet and exhaust. Instruments and sensors report filter status, fan status, chamber pressure, door status and high and low temperature alerts. Data acquisition systems document that the oven has followed it's prescribed program of heating, soaking and cooling.
Other features include Lydon’s Load Probe Control to allow the process to be conducted from the oven contents temperature as well as the circulating air temperature so as to further assure the heat history of the oven contents. Special materials handling equipment may include product carts that enter the oven from a separate truck that does not enter the oven (the Lydon 4330 hearth model series) and carts that have temperature sensors attached to allow multipoint temperature conformity mapping.
These highly customized ovens demonstrate Lydon’s design strengths and its special ability to collaborate with client’s own quality assurance and engineering personnel to develop high quality special equipment to meet or exceed the demanding needs of each client’s unique processing requirements.
