LYDON PHARAMCEUTICAL
Lydon Steam Heated Truck Loading Drying Ovens

Lydon Model Series 3430 Steam Heated Truck Loading Ovens are comparable to the 3330 model series of electrically heated ovens but use dry steam circulating through a tube and fin steam radiator coil instead of electric heating elements. Steam heating is desirable for facilities that have plentiful steam available and also due to its inherent heat and temperature limitations (arising from the pressure of the steam). Many chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories and manufacturers choose steam heated ovens.

The Lydon Model Series 3430 and 3427 Steam Heated Truck Loading Drying Ovens are often built with Lydon’s Volatile Ventilation Management system for non-aqueous drying challenges. This special system adjusts ventilation according to the concentration percent of the Lower Explosion Limit of the volatile organic compounds being dried to enhance product quality while keeping your process safe.

Lydon Custom Model 3430-7-T2 Steam Heated Truck Loading Dryer is shown with a batch capacity.

This example oven features a batch capacity of two trucks with trays. The oven areas of possible product contact are all 18-8 (T304) stainless steel. The unit is intended to be built into a wall of the facility and has doors on both ends so that the user may prepare and load the product from one room and discharge and proceed to subsequent activities in the next room. A recording instrument documents the process.  The oven has the capability to gently dry product at temperatures up to 93°C (200°F with 15 psig steam) with adjustable powered exhaust and HEPA filtration of the intake and exhausted process air. Interior air walls are Lydon’s Quickly Removable Perforation for ease in cleaning.
