Lydon builds Truck Loading Granulation Tray Drying Ovens with electric heat, dry steam heat and "wet" steam heat. Lydon Model Series 3430 Steam Heated Truck Loading Ovens are comparable to the 3330 model series of electrically heated ovens but use dry steam circulating through a tube and fin steam radiator coil instead of electric heating elements. Steam heating is desirable for facilities that have plentiful steam available and also due to its inherent heat and temperature limitations (arising from the pressure of the steam). Many chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories and manufacturers choose steam heated ovens.
The first oven shown is a variation of Lydon's 3457 Model Series of steam heated dryers with six trucks in two sections, variable fan drives and internal dampers for adjustment of velocity at the tray.
The second example shows three independent Lydon Model 3430-T2 Steam Heated Truck Loading Dryers. Each oven has a circle chart recorder, adjustable power exhaust blower, HEPA filtered intake air and Lydon's Quickly Removable Perforation interior air walls for ease in cleaning.
These drying ovens may be used with alcohols when Lydon's Volatile Ventilation Management system is installed to monitor and manage the alcohol vapor concentration in the oven at safe limits by adjusting ventilation. Many additional features are available to keep your process safe and profitable.
