Lydon Electrically Heated Truck Loading Composites Test Oven
Lydon Oven Model SEB-9B is an electrically heated truck loading oven with humidity controlled environment specially commissioned by scientists pushing the envelope of the items they created. The intent is to create severe conditions through which the product must maintain its properties. The water vapor content of the process air may be raised from ambient condition to saturated and condensing. The temperature may be raised to near the material failure point and the content performance studied.
As shown, temperature capability is 250°F (121°C) on 24KW with steam supplied at 5PSIG (345mbar). This unit's work space is 48"(120cm) wide x 48"(120cm) deep x 72"(182cm) height. The unit may be operated with or without added humidity. Interior components are stainless steel. Ventilation is capable of separate control. How will you test your candidate products?
