Lydon Composite Forming Drawer Ovens And Dryers
Customer's challenge: Provide a heated system for curing composite forms that will vary in size from 24" x 24" x 4" to 96" x 38" x 8" and can also handle 4ft. x 10ft. sheet stock.
Lydon's solution: A highly customized drawer version of Lydon's Model 2330D-10-T4 Electrically Heatead Two-Drawer Cabinet Oven that can handle both uses.
Air moves horizontally and vertically through the drawers to process parts and horizontally for pre-heating large sheets. Air volume is adjustable for high velocity or a gentle breeze. Heavy duty drawer construction allows full access above each open drawer and smooth drawer operation over a wide range of load mass.
Normal temperatures from ambient to 400°F (204°C).
The oven shown has 45KW of heater power for quick response.
Two drawers measure 125" x 53" x 9" for about 80 square feet of flexible usable area.
Ventilation is designed to meet your process needs.
