The Lydon Oven Model series 3427P-T2 Two Chamber Steam Heated Truck Loading Pigment Drying Oven was created for gentle tray drying of wet filter cake, pigments, colors and dyes. It is widely used in the chemical industries for water removal. Two separately controlled chambers allow the drying of distinctly different colors in different chambers. Two individually controlled oven chambers (two ovens in one) allow processing of different colors in each. The very nature of chemical colors is such that proper drying can be a difficult challenge if the cake surface dries too quickly. Lydon variable ventilation is the key. Ask Lydon about its special drying ovens for hard to dry materials.
Normal operations above ambient to 170ºF (77ºC)
Power varies with steam pressure, size, load and ventilation requirements.
Workspace size varies in depth dimension.
Air flow in oven is cross flow at the sides, through the trucks, return through the opposite wall.
This kind of oven is made in 3430P and 3427P (shown) with variation of fan and exhaust arrangement.
