LYDON TEXTILES
Lydon Electrically Heated Print Screen Curing Oven

Cloth is decorated much the same way as other sheet materials; such as, wallpaper. Printing on these special items requires color take-off screens, either flat or rotary. Metal screens made of fine mesh or close tolerance perforations are coated and cured in Lydon Ovens. Screens are then given "coded" instructions to allow each of the color separations through the screen at just the right point. (Yes, it's sort of like pixels.) The screens are then baked again in a Lydon Oven to make them ready for the print process.

Lydon Oven Model Series 1322-T5 Electrically Heated Printing Screen Oven is just the right answer to curing large flat screens. The overhead shuttle conveyor allows easy working with the screens at the oven front and simple loading and unloading. The forced convection air flow is vertically up to evenly distribute up to 500°F (260°C) from the 36KW heaters. Tall, slender Lydon Ovens cure cylindrical rotary screens with equal success. Tell us about your screens and Lydon will build the right oven for you.
