Lydon Continuous Steam Box Ovens And Conditioners
The process conditions available in the legendary Lydon Steam Box Ovens are also available in Lydon Continuous Process Ovens. This type of oven is especially useful for short duration humidified processes that have continuous processes upstream and downstream. Lydon will design your continuous humidity oven to match the characteristics of the process desired and to be compatible with other equipment in your production line.
The Lydon Oven Model Series 6325-HC-T2 Electrically Heated Steaming Tunnel Oven is shown above. In addition to dry bulb temperature control of the electric air heater, you have wet bulb control of the electric immersion heaters that generate the moisture. The conveyor is a woven belt with variable speed drive to gently carry your product through the cure. The air motion is a gentle breeze vertically down to the belt to provide excellent convection without adding to product motion.
The second Lydon Oven is model series 7324-HC-T3 Electrically Heated Humidity Controlled Tunnel Oven for post-processing of woven garment labels. This unique design allows for a continuous tape web of woven material to be steamed and dried under tension prior to cutting. It's a really neat example of how Lydon and its customers working together create safe and profitable oven equipment.
