LYDON TEXTILES
Lydon Industrial Steam And Electrically Heated Humidity Ovens And Conditioners

The Lydon Steam Box has a wonderful history dating back to the early days of the enterprise when Timothy Lydon designed a heat and humidity oven around the properties of the waxy substance deposited on silk fiber by the silkworm. Lydon not only combined dry heat control with wet bulb control but also created one of the earliest program control systems for this group of special textile ovens.

Lydon Steam Box Ovens and Conditioners operate from ambient temperature to nearly the boiling point of water using either steam or electric heat. Wet bulb temperatures generally lag the dry bulb by up to 10°F. Psychrometric program control is standard. This special process approach is ideal for textiles of all kinds and for many other products whose behaviors are similar to textiles.
